Old School Banana Bread

Makes one loaf

Ingredients

3 ripe bananas (mashed)

1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)

1/2 cup raw honey

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.

  2. Mash the bananas in a large bowl. Mix in the softened butter, honey, eggs, and vanilla.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

  4. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.

  5. Pour the batter into the greased pan and bake for 50 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
